Which lane of traffic are you in? Most of us travel thru life not thinking about it until we reach a point around 40 where we start to think, “Hmmm. I wonder if I should have a plan?”
In this country we are so focused on our kids getting a good traditional education that we rarely teach them a little bit at a time about money, saving money, handling money, investing or anything related to financial education. That’s why most of us end up at that 40 watermark looking for answers.
What can you do about this? Start early with your children. Give them a set amount of money and also give them specific things they must accomplish with the money each month. Make sure you include things they have to do, opportunities for fun and saving and investing. That’s right. Get them thinking about how they will handle money as an adult without making it a big adult ordeal.
Imagine a world where YOUR KID has a great education to get a good job, have a great career path, make a lot of money and focus on the basics of wealth-building to produce the wealth they will need to live a happy and joyful life filled with options. That’s your kid.

SAVE MORE THAN MONEY
In this country we don’t do enough to teach our children about money, managing money, saving regularly (and automatically), compound interest and steady investing for a long-term future. As a parent, we are always concerned that they get a good education and go to a good college so they can make a lot of money or have a valued career path. The truth is that we could do our children the biggest favor and one of the best things by sharing with them sound saving and investing principles.
You can join our free Facebook group (or have your children do it, too) by searching in the Facebook bar on your “wall” for “Live The Lifestyle Your Family Deserves.” Click on “become a fan.” It’s free and it ties our free blogs into that group.
If you want to give your children the same information we are giving ours, you can purchase the only thing we sell on any of our blogs or groups. It’s called “How To Survive Any Financial Crisis” and you can get it for only $4.95 at http://www.middleclassmoney.com.
