Do you have great ideas? Do you do good work where you earn your paycheck?
Do you believe in yourself? You should. Your employer believes in you. He or she is investing in you every time you show up to work.
So, we are going to ask you to BELIEVE IN YOURSELF and go to work for yourself when it comes to personal finance.
If you really want to boost savings and build wealth, you must attack the problem with passion and go beyond what your own neighbors may be willing to do. Try our “One Hour Personal Finance Belief Plan.”
Spend one (1) hour a week (or more) seeking:
1. Ways to make passive income or income OUTSIDE of your regular j-o-b so you can add to your savings contributions and debt reduction and elimination.
2. Ways to cut your casual spending so you can grow savings and debt reduction.
3. Ways to negotiate on everything. If you save money, put it in savings. Don’t just say you saved. Save the money. Push it away from checking and into a savings vehicle.
4. Ways you can develop a strategic plan for purchasing even the smallest of assets. Size does not matter. What matters is our definition of an asset. Remember that our definition of an asset is something that reproduces assets that look like and are valued the same as the original asset).
Your employer pays you because you are valuable, but you have to believe in yourself, too. You have to develop skills and boost savings because YOU CAN DO THIS.
MAKE MORE THAN MONEY COUNT
In this country we don’t do enough to teach our children about money, managing money, saving regularly (and automatically), compound interest and steady investing for a long-term future. As a parent, we are always concerned that they get a good education and go to a good college so they can make a lot of money or have a valued career path. The truth is that we could do our children the biggest favor and one of the best things by sharing with them sound saving and investing principles.
You can join our free Facebook groups (or have your children do it, too) by searching in the Facebook bar on your “wall” for “Live The Lifestyle Your Family Deserves” or “Frugal Facebook.” Click on “become a fan.” It’s free and it ties our free blogs into that group.
If you want to give your children the same information we are giving ours, you can purchase the only thing we sell on any of our blogs or groups. It’s called “How To Survive Any Financial Crisis” and you can get it for only $4.95 at http://www.middleclassmoney.com.
Thank you for reading our blog and good luck!
